Alan Shepard signed photo with President Kennedy being awarded the Distinguished Service Medal after his historic Mercury flight. The photo is 8 x 10 and enclosed in a numbered mat. The number on the mat is 1789 / 2500. It also comes with a COA ( also with the same number) from the US Historical Society. Wally Schirra - Mercury 8
Extremely uncommon portrait glossy of Wally Schirra. This was a private portrait made during Schirra’s early days at NASA. From this photo a extreme limited amount of photos were made. (I think it was 40 photos). I had Schirra sign them and there are just a few left. Schirra added the “Mercury 7 symbol Astronaut” under his signature. Excellent condition.

NASA glossy of the “Faith 7 ” capsule in the water after spashdown with the recovery team nearby. Signed by the Pilot Gordon Cooper who added these famous words “ Right on the old Bozo,,,,,,Faith 7 Successful Splashdown”. Note : Cooper had the most successful Mercury flight……….. landing closer to his recovery target than any other Mercury Astronaut!!

Signed and not personalized by Gordon Cooper who added “ Mercury Atlas 9 Liftoff ” ….and “Faith 7 ,,,15 May 1963″ The photo scan looks ‘washed’ it was because it was lightened a bit so you could see Cooper’s handwritting. The glossy is in excellent condition.
